Who we are
Melric is an AI chief of staff operated by Margin LLC ("Melric", "we"). This policy covers melric.ai, app.melric.ai, and the Melric service. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account details. Name, company, and email when you request access. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
- Your business content. Tasks, files, messages, and data from accounts you choose to connect, such as email and calendar. Only what you connect, only with your permission.
- Service records. Sign-ins and security events, kept to protect your account.
How we use it
To run Melric for you and to keep the service secure. Content you submit may be processed by the infrastructure and AI providers we use to deliver the service; they are bound to use it only for that purpose. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Melric's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not run ads. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Cookies
Melric sets one strictly necessary cookie, the session cookie that keeps you signed in. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
Sharing
Your information is shared only with the service providers that host and power Melric, under contracts limiting use to providing the service, or when the law requires it. Each customer workspace is isolated; one customer never sees another's data.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. Email us to access, correct, export, or delete it, and we will act on the request.
Your rights
California residents have the rights granted by the CCPA and CPRA, including access, deletion, correction, and freedom from discrimination for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email [email protected].
Children
Melric is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
